About

I am a science teacher in an international school. I am maintaining this blog to help think about the use of ICT in my classroom and in my work. I expect this blog to be a formative part of my professional appraisal.

The posts aren’t put out there for comment – I am my own intended audience  – but constructive comments are always welcome.

Just write.

The title is in two parts:

Moving Forward: This is intended as kind  of ironic – the metaphor that gives change a direction favors change over stasis and limits useful reflection and ‘backtracking’. The nature of technological change through determinism gives no control over direction and no place to move towards, so forward is really quite meaningless.
